Problem:

A client may accidentally delete website files from cPanel File Manager. When this happens, the deleted files can be recovered from the Trash and restored to their original folder.

Step-by-Step Solution:

Step 1—Log in to cPanel:

Log in to your hosting account and open cPanel.

Step 2—Open File Manager:

From the cPanel dashboard, open File Manager to access your website files and folders.

Step 3—Open View Trash:

In File Manager, look at the top-right side of the screen.

You will see the View Trash option. Click View Trash to see the files that have been deleted.

Step 4—Restore the Deleted File:

Inside View Trash, you will see the deleted files.

1. Find the file that you want to recover.
2. Right-click on the file.
3. Select the Restore option.
4. The file will automatically be restored to the same location/folder from which it was deleted. 

Step 5—Verify the File:

Go back to the original file location in File Manager and confirm that the file has been restored successfully.

The deleted file should now be available again in its original folder.
