Problem:
When a client wishes to transfer their registered domain to another hosting provider, they are required to provide an EPP or Authorization code
Step-by-Step Solution:
Step 1—Log in to Your Account:
Log in to your hosting account's Client Area dashboard.
Step 2—Navigate to the Domains Section:
From the main menu, go to the Domains section. Here, you will see a list of all your active registered domains.
Step 3—Access Domain Management Options:
Find the specific domain you want to transfer. Tick the checkbox located in front of the domain name. Once checked, multiple management options will appear on your screen. Look for the option labeled Registrar Lock Status.
Step 4—Unlock the Domain and Get the EPP Code:
Click on Registrar Lock Status. A new window or section will open.
By default, the domain will be locked for security. Click to disable the registrar lock and unlock the domain.
Once the domain is successfully unlocked, the system will reveal your EPP/Authenticator Code
Important Note: Per ICANN rules, domains cannot be transferred to a different registrar if they are within 60 days of their initial registration or a prior transfer.
